Blunt Blades is a project by artist Arabel Lebrusan which centres on our complex relationships with knives, exploring whether the meanings of objects can be re-established via material transformation and contextualisation.
Informed by years of research after Lebrusan received three crates of confiscated knives and weapons from Bedfordshire Police in 2013, the artist has realised Blunt Blades Exhibition and Blunt Blades Exchange. The project continues to develop and evolve.
